We’ll start by getting to know business automation on a deeper level. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the different types of AI and automation available to business owners and how Zapier fits into the [rather wild and ever-evolving!] tech landscape — along with a comprehensive overview of how Zapier works.
This is where we’ll walkthrough a bunch of powerful automations built with no code using Zapier. You’ll be able to hand-pick the ones that are going to work for you straight-out-of-the-box, conjure up ideas for zaps that best suit your needs [design-your-own], and create an action plan for implementing more zaps into your business.
This is where you’ll create your first zap. We’ll cover the basics of Zapier like: apps, authentications, triggers, actions, schedules, delays and filters.
This is where we’ll step it up a notch and build automations that performs multiple tasks in a row. We’ll cover more advanced concepts of Zapier like: prompts, paths, formatting and webhooks.
Here you’re learn how to pick the right plan level for your Zapier account, manage your task usage and keep your Zapier costs to a minimum. This includes tips for building your zaps in the leanest possible way to keep those tasks runs down. Full financial control activated.
It’s important you understand how to troubleshoot your zaps and keep error alerts away. We’ll also make sure your notifications are only firing when you need them most [and not maxing out your Inbox!].
You’ll learn to how to make AI & Automation a part of your everyday, with habit-stacking techniques to keep you on top of your nerd girl game and boost your technical confidence.
Along with the theoretical lessons on the different features that Zapier has, we are also going to build lots of practical examples — so that you can really get the hang of how Zapier works and go forth to create automations a-plenty!
You will be guided through a truck-load of tried-and-tested, flexible zaps. Think: step-by-step walk-throughs that show you how to [finally!] automate your work and put your business on autopilot.
During Zap School, we’ll meet on Zoom for two [2] hours every second week for five [5] Zap That! Action Sessions [more on that below] to set up zaps in real-time. That’s 10 hours hanging with me and the other business owners who join Zap School, where I’ll guide you through exercises and tasks, maybe even ask you to share your screen so I can provide feedback, and answer any questions that come up along the way. Zapping our way through your business processes, from admin to marketing, sales to finances, onboarding to offboarding, and more!

To keep it simple, we’re using widely available platforms. Live sessions happen on Zoom. And you’ll obvs also need a Zapier account too.
